ABOUT_ME:

My name is Wade Young. I fell in love with Film, Videography, and Editing in high school and followed that passion to John Brown University where I studied Digital Cinema. I’ve worked on film sets as a Cinematographer, First AC, Key Grip, and Boom Op. I’ve shot promotional material, basketball games, weddings, and concerts and have several years of editing experience working with narrative and non-narrative projects. I love shooting live events and putting that footage together in the edit, as well as doing my best to bring forth the vision of the Director or Client I am working with. But most of all, I love improving my skills and acquiring new ones. Below is a collection of projects I’ve made over the years, covering my time working with World Record Holding Mountaineer Jenn Drummond, Bottled Lightning Studios, the JBU athletics programs, and more.
